About
I’m a classically rooted composer with a touch of jazz nuance and modern-day influences. My music leans into emotional storytelling, often blending traditional piano textures with cinematic layers, subtle electronics, and the occasional unexpected turn. I don’t write to fit into a mold — I write to tell a feeling. Sometimes that’s delicate. Sometimes it’s bold. But it’s always honest.
I love creating music that speaks where words fall short. Sync and cinematic work lets me build entire emotional landscapes with sound — music that doesn’t just support a story, but becomes part of how it’s felt. I’m drawn to textures, arcs, and moments that leave space for interpretation. The challenge of telling something layered in just a few minutes — that’s what excites me most.
My teaching years gave me a deep respect for the building blocks of expression — for how music grows in layers from curiosity, discipline, and play. I always encouraged my students to explore beyond the page, to improvise, interpret, and feel their way through a piece. That same spirit lives in my creative process now. I start at the piano, often improvising until something clicks emotionally, then follow it with intention. Even in complex productions, I return to that same question: what’s the feeling at the heart of this?
